Paola Lace Christian Louboutin Booties
Giusepizanoti Mary Janes Pumps

I purchased these two pairs of shoes at saks.com on Christmas eve with their after christmas sale, both were 65% off, but were still quite pricey since the original prices were kind of high. I think I am going to return the booties since I already purchased me over the knee boots, and I already have other booties....but It's too late to cancel the order, I will see how they fit and will bring the black lace back....

stella McCartney strapless dress worn with J-crew cropped cardigan which simulates the same look from Mrs. Beckham above

the black dress is definitely not my choice for new year eve because it's a bit too onserative looking..
Burberry Prorsum with Christian Louboutin lace up open toe booties...this could possibly be the one
Ali Ro cut out dress
Milly lace dress

Jean Paul Gaultier dress. I'll need help to wear this dress put on because there is a buckle on the back of the dress that it's impossible for me to reach back there and fasten it:)

The second time around is always better:)

I got the dress back from my tailor, and it looks perfect. I don't know what I would do without my tailor, she is the best and very reasonably priced. I have few tailors in Dallas that I use depend on what I need to get done.

Two and half years ago, the same dress, but I didnt love so much, and two years later I am in love with it:)

2010

2010 is going to be an extremely busy year for me. I don't know how I am going to fit everything into my schedule, but I will.
  • Starting my master program in January 2010
  • While working on my master, getting PMP certification
  • Health: Eating healthier, increase more cardio and abs work out to get to the fitness level I'd always want to get to
  • To get fitness training certification so I can be a part time trainer. I think once I acheive the fitness level I want, I can be a part time trainer and it will be an advantage to be a stylish asian/vietnamese trainer with a hot bod since there is not many out there. Having fun and making extra cash is great:)

What are your goals? what would you like to get accomplished in the up coming year?

Letting go the old and welcome the new

picture of the dress on Nordstrom.com. Original price is $1995, and now on sale at Nordstrom for $1194

Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009. I prefer and love the black version for the texture of the fabric

I do not have anything in my closet in this electric blue so it is eually nice

I love the print of this dress, it's great for the up coming spring

Alexander Mcqueen Spring 2009

My new rule is if I want something new I must get grid of something I don't wear anymore. Lately I ebay off some of the great items yet I do not see myself ever wearing the pieces again so I let them go and welcome new ones:)

Chanel Scarf

Although yesterday was such a rainy and cold day in Dallas, however I had a long list I need to get done at the mall so I dragged myself to the mall
  1. Return make up brushes that I ordered at Neiman Marcus and didn't like
  2. I ordered some dresses from Saks.com the day after thanksgiving and none of them fit

  3. I had to buy a secret santa gift for a girl in my office

So of course while I was at Neiman I couldn't help checking out all the marked down items. I saw one or two things I would spend money on, however not when they are only 40% off...I need better sale in order to afford these items, they are way too expensive even at 40% off...I need 70% off sale:). I made a decision that If I am going to add something to my closet, I am going to need to get grid of something else that I don't wear, and any new addition will be the best and only the best other wise it is not worth to waste money on.

Items I saw were a nice Chanel suit which of course still very expensive....I don't have anything Chanel so of course I would love to own a Chanel suit someday; I also saw a very cool wool scarf which I am in love with, but not for a hefty price tag of $700 even after the 40% sale so I am going to wait, it it will make it to last call, it will be mine if not, its just not meant to be. I am going to wait until the last mark down or I just won't need anything:).

I'm going to have a DIY project....it looks simple enough that a person like myself can attempt to try....well, I'll be thinking about the fabric and I will have a DIY bow tie scarf coming up soon....

It needs time to grow on you

I lways let the sale person talk me into buying something expensive then when I come home I am not sure about it. Just like how I made my decision to purchase this Umberto Olivieri quilted leather jacket. I thought it was great when I saw it at the store, but when I brought it home, it was good, but not great. After discovering that it goes with pretty much anything I start loving it so much now.
It is very Chanel and I can dree it up or down depends on what I pair with it. I am saying it's very Chanel like because it is quilted, by no mean to insult Umberto Olivirie in anyway because he is a well known designer in Italy specializing in mostly haute couture shearling/fur coat and hand made Haute couture leather garment.
I had so much fun wearing the jacket and always receive compliment on it. Sometime something needs little time to grow on you:)...and the most important thing is it keeps me very very warm. I have another leather jacket that I love and bought in Boston last year by Prada, look great, but only for look and more comfortable for the high 50s or mid 60s evening weather over Jeans or dress, but Olivieri is different, it keeps me warm and looking stylish at the same time.
1) I wore Maison Martin Margriela pants with JAY AHR halter top mini dress but I wore as a top with the pants.
2) I wore Dolce & Gabbana collection dress with Micheal Kors strappy heels and of course my Olivierie jacket over it to Duy'S BD dinner.

It meant to be--Burberry Prorsum

Spring 2007 is the first season Burberry launched the upper line Burberry Prorsum. The above lace dress is Burberry Prorsum from Spring 2007. The dress was retailed for over $3000, I bought the dress in June 2007 @ 70% off sale at the Burberry store during my trip to NYC that year, size 36 was too tight, and size 38 was a bit tight as well and for some reason I just didn't love it as much when I brought it home so I sold it to my friend Sandy.

I am so into lace these days, and I am telling you Lace is going strong next spring as well so keep all your lace pieces. I am in search of lace dress so I decided to search ebay, I ran into this dress again and for someone reasons I am now so in love with it is on its way to me:). I paid a little less than what I paid for at the Burberry store two years ago, however it's ebay which means no return and also the dress is from few seasons ago....but it's still very lovely:)

Call me crazy, but I am kind of excited to get the dress again:). Wish I took a full shot of Sandy in the dress....Sandy wore the dress to wedding and to go out with me and couple of friends two years ago:)

Gift card and Umberto Olivie Shearling/coat

I had a gift card at Neiman Marcus and I splurged it on a quilted jacket leather by Umberto Olivieri...it still costs me over 1k, quite expensive consider it was already on sale 75%. Honestly, It was a final sale from fur department at Neiman and I had mixed feeling about it after I bought it, but darn, I can't return and it's hard to resale anything over 1k so I guess I will just keep it and enjoy it then....

I wore it to hockey game lastnight.....

I must say Dolce & Gabbana is my favorite, I also love the lower line D&G which somtime pieces from D&G line look just as high end as their collection line.

lace

I love lace so much that I am having my designer friend making me a lace dress....and I wore ivory lace top with leather skirt to dinner with my friends from Boston.
