I have a special love for lace; I love everything lace from undergarment to an evening dress. La Perla makes perfect and sexy lace undergarment; it makes my not sexy figure so much sexier so I love them:). I love every Prada Fall 2008 runway piece, I would own all of them if I can afford them all:)

The two Alexander McQueen dresses above are to die for. I love the structure of the dress. I think it would be very nice if it was made in the same textured lace material as seen on Prada. I have a friend who is a great designer; I think I am going to have her made a dress for me similiar to one of these:)

Work function/dinner

I'll be attending company function/dinner tomorrow at the Mansion in Dallas, and I guess this will be work appropriate. Originally, the front portion of dress is one piece, but because it runs a bit big and I have to get it tailored (since I have disproportional body, my back/torso tends to be shorter than my legs, so often I have to get the top portion shortened on some of the sheath dresses) so the front portion of the dress now has a seamline. I got the dress on sale, but I had to get it tailored to fit me better so the dredd ended up not such a great deal after all:(, but still only fraction of the original retail price:)

I guess I should borrow my sister's black pearl necklace to complete the look and wear a skinny black belt as well:)

Fall 2009 Wish list???

Do you have a shopping wish list for the upcoming Fall 2009? I really have not had any wish list in the past simply because my wish-list items are always too expensive so I am just kind of going with the flow, if I happen to see something I like on sale then I'll buy or else I just won't have them:).

If I have all the money that I dont know what to do with then I'll get all of the above items right away:), but that is not the case here, so I'll keep my eyes out for when I see similiar items get marked down so only until then I may be able to fullfill my shopping wish list:).

I am so in love with Dolce & Gabbana

I tried to add a belt with this dress, it just doesnt work maybe if it is worn with some sparkly belt and my friend told me I can wear her Chanel chain belt:)

Every season I buy few investment pieces; of course I always wait until the store has a sale to buy since designer pieces always cost too much at original retail price. I don't know anyone that would pay $3500 for a dress, and even at 75% to 80% off, it's still little a bit too much to spend on one dress, but if you really love it and gotta have it...then you just gotta have to write a check for it:).

Do you think the dress will be inappropriate to wear to wedding since it is white and the skirt portion is kind of lace/eyelet? Well, If I do wear it to wedding, I will need to add some belt like a gold grosgrain belt or something gold or silver to make it less white...

The dress as seen on Dania Ramirez is the same dress that I wore as seen on the picture above; picture was taken using my iphone so the quality of the picture is not clear; the lighting makes the dress looks more ivory-ish. I am not sure if I love the dress on Dania, it looks like its a bit too small on her, and she needs to go up a sizeI love the volumous skirt paring with a silky dress shirt, looks so effortless chic.....

This dress was seen on lots of celebs, it is from Dolce & Gabbana spring 2009. Mrs Beckham looks perfect in this Dolce & Gabbana number!!!

Dinner with friends

I had a great weekend. Friday night drink with the girls, and Saturday dinner with all my fabulous girl friends and their hubbies...

It was a nice night, considering the wearther was in the 70s, I wore super light Stelle McCartney coat dress....and deep red lipstick.

What do you think of men in super tight skinny jeans? I am talking about tight like the way us girl wear skinny jeans? straight leg jeans are okay, but super tight skinny jeans is a nono on men.....at least in my personal opinion.

You've seen me in the one hot red Christian Louboutins sling back in every picture for the last month or so....this is my favorite pair of shoes to wear with all mini dresses for now. They are super comfortable and I can go on all night in them:) that's why they are my first choice if I am going to wear an above the knee dress.....

Think ahead.

I am doing pretty good keeping up with my blog huh:). Well, I update almost daily although I have almost no reader:) hahahaha, LOL.

Well, I'll have a wedding to go to next month, and I'd like to know ahead what I'll be wearing so I know I am set on the attire for the event and not having to hunt for anything. Knowing me, I probably will change my choice toward the end anyways, but it's good to come up with few options to choose from:

1) Ellen Tracy beaded dress, it is at least 10 years, Manolo Blahnik jewl sandals

2) Dolce & Gabbana dress

I will pick either one of these or something else in my closet to wear to the reception, and for the ceremony at church, I'll wear my old D&G gray dress.

Do you sometime see a look in a movie or magazine and immediately recognize that you have a similiar item in your closet, and you can't wait to go home to mimic the look using that similiar piece that you have:). I do.....I always love the bond girl look with leather jacket or military inspired jacket, on top of being so bored tonight I tried on my favorite leather jacket and D-square jacket again....can' t wait until it gets cold enough to wear them out:).

I also spot another look today on instyle.com: a sequined min skirt:(. so I tried on the sequined top with mini skirt instead:)
